Biography: Ir. Kumaresan Magaswaran is the Manager of the Autonomous Vehicle eXperimental Lab (AVXL) at MRANTI Corporation Sdn. Bhd., holding the mandate to accelerate the commercialization and adoption of autonomous vehicle technologies in Malaysia. Prior to that, he was an academician for a decade at a highly acclaimed technology university after being an engineer in an FMCG multinational manufacturing company. A professional engineer certified by the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) and the Institute of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE) UK. A pioneering member of a working group in a Malaysian university to embed entrepreneurialDNA in its students and staff. Deploying technical skills and entrepreneurial knowledge, Ir. Kumaresan and his team are advocating future mobility as a tool of people empowerment for the next developmental wave in Malaysia.
Dr. Norehan Yahya is currently the CEO of Xcelcius Consultancy Sdn Bhd. She has over 20 years of experience in the ICT industry working with Telekom Malaysia, Maxis, Sapura and Mesiniaga where she held leadership roles in Network Management, Network Engineering as well as Product Development. Her achievements include the design and commercialisation of Private Networks solutions that encompass Mobile IoT applications. She holds a BSc degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Nottingham in the UK and a PhD from Asia e University, Malaysia. She also has a certificate in Design Thinking Methodology from Harvard University, USA.
Biography: Nordiana Noordin currently holds the position of Deputy Executive
Chief Engineer at PROTON.
She graduated from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia with a Bachelor’s
Degree in Science and has over 30 years of experience in the
automotive industry.
Her expertise has transitioned from vehicle homologation to a
leadership role in developing the R&D organization for vehicle electrification and vehicle connectivity.
She has led innovative projects, including the rollout of PROTON’s
first electric vehicles for Fleet Test Vehicle Program in 2011 and its
first connected car in 2018.
She is currently leading PROTON’s efforts in CASE Mobility
(Connected, Autonomous, Shared, and Electric), which is instrumental in shaping the future of mobility in Malaysia.
